A slow year, 2001 will only have one album on this list. Jay-Z continued to dominate the game, after releaseing two collaberation albums in 2000, Jay decided to bless us the the first of what would become a legendary collactions of albums The Blueprint… NAS’s Stillmatic was the only other album I thought about putting on the list but the way Jay-Z crushed NAS on Takeover was enough to keep him off.
